Online Guitar Lessons
As of 2020, I began teaching online. I continue to teach many students this way, and for them it has evidently been a great success. So if you'd prefer to have your lessons from the comfort of your own home, this is not only eminently achievable, but could be just as effective as in-person lessons. I say "could be," because there are some considerations to address. I've given a detailed run-down of the advantages and disadvantage of online lessons in the FAQs, so please read there if you're interested.
In-Person Guitar Lessons
Lessons are held at my house wherein I keep a well-equipped, clean and tidy guitar teaching space, with an amp, and an array of pedals for electric players. I also have a sofa for parents, who are very welcome to sit in on their child's lessons. You need only bring a guitar, but if you're new to the instrument and don't yet own one, I have spares you may borrow during the lesson.
When I Teach, and Shared Guitar Lessons
I hold private guitar lessons between the hours of 9:00 and 20:00 Monday-Saturday. I keep my Sundays free to teach any student who needs to reschedule their lesson from their normal time for whatever reason. If you want to learn with a friend, that's quite all right with me, and it can save you money too. Have a look at the prices page for more details. I'll admit a maximum of 3 people for any private guitar lesson, if there are more than 3 of you wanting to learn, then perhaps we could talking about starting a local guitar workshop.
