Who I Teach And What You Can Expect In A Guitar Lesson

I offer guitar lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced students of all ages. The youngest student I accepted was 3, and my oldest is currently 69. The lessons are tailored to your aspirations; whether you want to be a rock god, an acoustic wizard, something different or all of the above. And for each lesson you'll be given detailed practice tips and short-term goals to keep you progressing. I also give all my students a display book in which to keep all the handout materials and written feedback I give them. This is essential for staying organised and aware of the overall purpose of the lessons.

Where I Teach, And With What Equipment

I keep a well-equipped, clean and tidy teaching space at my house, with spare guitars, amp, an array of pedals, books, CDs, DVDs, white board, etc. I also have a sofa and tea making facilities for parents, who are very welcome to sit in on their child's lessons by the way. I do occasionally travel to students however, and I'm happy to do that for you, though I charge an additional £3 time/fuel fee. Feel free to find out more in my terms & conditions.

When I Teach And Shared Guitar Lessons For Beginners

I hold private lessons between the hours of 10:00 and 19:00 on weekdays and Saturdays. I keep my Sundays available to teach any student who needs to reschedule their lesson from their normal time for whatever reason. If you want to learn with a friend, that's ok, and it can save you money too. Have a look at the prices page for more details. I'll admit a maximum of 3 people for any private lesson, if there are more than 3 of you wanting to learn, then perhaps we could talking about starting a local workshop. Lesson sharing only really works for guitar lessons for beginners, as it's necessary for each student to be at the same level.
